Chronology of cameras Canon
The Top Shot received several awards for its innovative design (at that time) and was also named "European Camera" in 1986.
Canon set the bar high by equipping it with a 2.8/38 mm lens with 4 elements in 4 groups, and claimed it was "suitable" for slides.
The autofocus has a minimum distance of 55 centimeters. The exposure can be locked. The flash allows for fill-in (shadow compensation in bright light).
